i-Automation“ Technology Day”

On March 3rd, Fluitecnik, as OMRON's official integrator in Gipuzkoa and Navarra, had the opportunity to collaborate with OMRON in the i-Automation“ Technology Day” organised at the IMH (Machine Tool Institute) in Elgoibar.

In this session, the Gipuzkoan companies in attendance learned how to achieve the highest quality, sustainability and operational excellence through more flexible production lines, with zero-defect architectures and the ability to tackle customised manufacturing through the use of collaborative or mobile robotics.

The Head of Collaborative Robotics, Katixa Cariñena, and the Sales Representative of the Basque Country, Luis Pontijas, both belonging to the commercial team of Fluitecnik, presented a success case related to an application with collaborative robot that they are developing in a customer in the automotive industry. This case showed the advantages associated with automating a manual operation with collaborative robots due to its compact size, its ease of programming for different products and the great utility of the integrated camera as a “poka-yoke”.”
