Drive Pylon - New concept for parabolic collectors
Fluitecnik, within its product development of components for parabolic troughs, has developed a new Drive Pylon concept. The system is defined by its robustness, reliability, long useful life, and reduced maintenance. In addition, Fluitecnik has applied our existing expertise in renewable energies to resolve issues such as:
- Anticorrosive protection of all components assuring the fulfillment of the strictest technical specifications.
- Design verification by test and trials of life and fatigue of the different components used.
- Optimization of the design facilitating both plant assembly procedures and the subsequent operations and maintenance in the field.
- Cost reductions in plant assembly. The Drive Pylon is delivered fully assembled and tested within our facilities, providing significant savings in the field.
